The first day of anything is always the most difficult. For
most, that is. But for me, it was a relief. Why? For one school was absolutely,
positively over. Not enough, well the, how about I was actually excited about
starting college and living in a hostel alone.
There, I said it. Yes, I live in a hostel.
As I was saying, the first day went pretty normal. Mum and
Dad dropped me off, and they weren’t even allowed into the lobby of my ladies
hostel.So, it was just me, carrying my heavy suitcase and two other carry-on’s
and up to the second floor. Awesome.
When I first saw the room that was soon going to be my new
home, I would like to say I was awed beyond belief and absolutely loved it. But
then that would be a lie. But, then again, it wasn’t that bad either. Especially,
when my new roomie Susannah entered, it wasn’t bad at all.
She is this sassy, serious type, that’s just amazing. And
she is almost as passionate about books as I am. So, I just knew we were going
to be great.
I guess, the first day wasn’t that bad after all.
