Review: The Final Empire

The Final Empire The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book of the Mistborn Series.

Its difficult to read a complete series. It takes time, patience and interest. But, a few chapters into the book, and I knew I will definitely read the whole series to the end.

There's always another secret - Kelsier

This is probably one of the best fictions I've ever read.

I can honestly say there was absolutely nothing I could find lacking in this book. It had everything. A exceptionally brilliant plot, seriously cooler than cool characters (there was no way you could hate anybody here), a roller coaster of emotions, a fictional dream come true.

Kelsier equals goals in life. Who cares about romance heroes and alpha men? He is absolutely dedicated to what he believes, seriously powerful, sarcastic, fantastic leader... and just awesome.

Vin: I don't know -- and it's all your fault, you know. I used to understand everything. Now it's all confused.

Kelsier: Yes, we've messed you up right properly.

And I want to be Vin. Nothing more to be said.

Sazed is like the supportive uncle, wise grandfather and the friend who will listen patiently and not judge you, all rolled into one. Everyone needs someone like Sazed in Life.

Elend, the idealistic bookworm, is just too cute. And the fact that the strong-willed, stubborn and generally difficult Vin, falls for him is really comical and strangely beautiful. (hearts)

The team. If there was anybody I would want to completely rely on, it would be people like Kelsier's Team. Breeze, Dockson, Ham, even spook and his undecipherable dialect.

Brilliant book. Brilliant characters... Just Brilliant.
